Furthermore, the program provides applicants with a three-month grace period during which they are not required to make any payments, thereby alleviating their financial obligations.
The scheme’s affordability was also emphasised by Chief Minister Nawaz, who disclosed that the monthly installment will be set at a manageable PKR. 14,000 per month. Additionally, she disclosed that Pakistan’s largest solar program is set to commence next year. This initiative is anticipated to substantially reduce, and potentially eliminate, electricity expenses for residents.
The “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” initiative will be implemented in all of Punjab’s key cities. The houses constructed under this initiative will include a well-sized kitchen, a restroom, a TV lounge, and two bedrooms, thereby guaranteeing a comfortable living experience for all.
