The specifics of this initiative demonstrate the government’s unwavering dedication to the rapid provision of high-quality dwellings to those in need. The provision of a PKR. 15 lac interest-free financing is one of the most noteworthy aspects of the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ Project scheme. The objective of this loan is to facilitate the acquisition of 5 marla plots in urban areas and 10 marla plots in rural regions. Furthermore, the program provides applicants with a three-month grace period during which they are not required to make any payments, thereby alleviating their financial obligations.
The scheme’s affordability was also emphasised by Chief Minister Nawaz, who disclosed that the monthly installment will be set at a manageable PKR. 14,000 per month. Additionally, she disclosed that Pakistan’s largest solar program is set to commence next year. This initiative is anticipated to substantially reduce, and potentially eliminate, electricity expenses for residents.
The “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” initiative will be implemented in all of Punjab’s key cities. The houses constructed under this initiative will include a well-sized kitchen, a restroom, a TV lounge, and two bedrooms, thereby guaranteeing a comfortable living experience for all.
